NYGFOA PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SCHOLARSHIP
The NYGFOA Professional Development Scholarship Award was created to allow public sector members who have not previously attended the Annual Conference and who would not be able to attend without financial assistance, the chance to attend. Each award covers the cost of registration and two nights at the conference hotel.

Stanley M. Schoenfeld Memorial Scholarship
The NYGFOA Stanley M. Schoenfeld Memorial Scholarship Award, named for one of NYGFOA's founding members and its first treasurer, was created to encourage students to pursue a career in government finance.
The scholarship, awarded annually, is available for NYGFOA public sector members and their employees who are accepted in an associate’s, bachelor’s or master’s degree program and are planning to advance their career in state or local government finance. Applicant must be currently enrolled or accepted into an associate’s, bachelor’s or master’s degree program in accounting/ governmental accounting, business administration, finance, economics, or public administration/affairs at a college or university in New York State. Full and part-time students are eligible.
